I took a cold walk, a grocery / shopping time. I see how the perennials are faring in a good weather we just had lately. I am loving it, the blogging became a means of a reference previous years on how plants are doing when. I started with. This photo was taken April 24, 2010.
In April 3, 2011 my husband and I went back to the same tree that's shown above, and looked the difference. We loved this tree, this time ill make it up to know what name im talking about.
Winter has been so mild in Berlin where we're living, but in the other places, snow were so much. We did received 2-3 " of snow last week. It's beautiful icy snow and started to melt the next day.
The Narcissus which i'd planted last year started to sprout one by one since last week.....actually it started to sprout January 15, 2012. Today is a cold humid day. This is the progress of my Giant Daffodil. I have 7 seven sprouts in a pot.
It's so wonderful happening today, while walking in a spring humid climate, i saw this little one spring flower growing in the weeds. I've seen moos all over the place.

This would take me time to force the branches to flower. I put it in a jar, by the way, i spent 1.50 euro for that. Before putting it in a jar, i cut the tip of each branches diagonally. I immediately put it in the water because the air can stop the water from entering. I will allow to soak it there for 3 days starting today. It is good to put it in a wide vase and then when the flower started to bloom i will transfer it in a cute vase.

The forsythia yellow green bud started to sprout. The farther it blooms, the longer the branch will take to bloom. Let it stay away from the sun.

third day, Forsythia is a desiduous bush, they get more plump as the spring nears, the container with tapwater help a lot for 3 or more branches.
Fourth day, if you look closely you will see the flowers bloom, i found that these plant is good for indoors forcing to bloom. Once a week i will cut an inch of each end. Then the homemade flower preservative will follow through, and i wanted to find out if it help in both containers.
Fifth day, almost all is blooming now, there's still green on the tip of each branches, im wondering if it will turn into yellow flower or will remain as it is !
Sixth day, I've noticed the green leaves at the tip of each branches. Would it turned yellow flower ? or might started to become green leaves ?
13.March 2012, i think i have to put it in a pot, its alive....:)

This point in time, i will worked as a scientist as i can, that's great :) I will be taking notes on the development of the buds and record it each time. So watched out for that. Hope we will learn from it.

Sixth day, cherry flower started to develop, i wished it turned pinkish ! This will be a beautiful bloom for the flower buds are all well developed :)

March 13, 2012 another tree to look forward to bloom inside our home, this one is as 5 feet tall :) actually we are surrounded with flowers just started to bloom in our home
