A Myth or A Fact

Old Story exist abundantly in the World of garden, I remember some of our neighbors kept on asking if she found a luck with that new plant bought in garden store. Neighbor to neighbor passed on the tip stand on little or no scientific research. Once it happen it is hard to undo the belief whether its a myth or consciously to be true. This is my approach of some popular garden myth or a fact.

Myth or Fact: Plant natural pesticides are toxic to pest and harmless to other living things. Well, there are plants derived from poisonous plant that's considered pesticides, even more toxic than the commercially prepared one. A Pyrethrum ( Chrysanthemum cineraiaefolium ) is a known Botanical pesticide. When enhaled and ingested ( particularly children ) is moderately poisonous to human, and toxic to aquatic life and used as fish poisons. Cat is also susceptible to poison Pyrethrum. The chrysanthemum flower used as Pyrethrum after they open, extracted as an oil, pulverized or dried. Active ingredients can cause nervous system to cause paralysis and death (if in sufficient amount ).
