" A Green Thumb " so to speak

Since 2008, we are an avid fan of this event, the International Green Week, for the people who has the special knack for making any type of plants to grow well. The green thumb is really a quality of a good gardener or in farming  to make the plants grow healthy.  People with a green thumb love plants and have a garden / houseplants.  As what they say, green thumb originated to the chlorophyll in plants which gives them green color. The forefinger and thumb pinch the plant it allows a new growth, Chlorophyll stains the hand green, and thats how the term green thumb originated.

People who happened to have green thumb always makes a success rather failures in growing healthier plants.  But other says, it can be learned such as the proper climate conditions, the sun and water that plants needed.

Many people tried to follow some intructions on soil, water, light requirements of the plant but still have no or  limited success in trying to make plants nourish and flourish.  Those people who has no ability to grow plants well are said to have brown/black thumb. The color resembles when the plant is dead.
